What is Rotary?

A worldwide association of local clubs for people in business or the professions who: provide humanitarian service to the community at local, national and international level; encourage high ethical standards in all vocations; and work for goodwill and peace in the world. The motto of Rotary is "Service above self".

Medway Rotary

Achievements Summary 2006-2007

The Medway Club has always been renowned for it's hands on approach and 2006-7 will be no different. As well as supporting a new charity Medway Autistic Group Information Centre (MAGIC), we are also supporting old favourites such as Cerebral Palsy Care, Demelza Childrens Hospice and the Wisdom Hospice. This year will also see practical work in support of the Special Care Baby Unit in Medway. We are renowned for enjoying our commitment to Service above Self and have already supported an International project (sending beds to Serbia) and will be running Health Check days in Medway to encourage sickness prevention. New members are always welcome and we encourage visits from other Rotary Clubs worldwide.
