Santas Came to Town!

Following the success of our Santa Fun Fund raising events we plan for another and more attractive enterprise on Saturday 19th November 2011 starting and finishing at the Rochester Castle Gardens. Registration from 1.15 – Warm up at 1.50 – Santas on their way at 2pm following a mile route around the historic streets of Rochester

Entry fee remains at £10 and includes a Santa suit for all adult applicants & a junior size for children/young people. We are also looking to encourage Families with a £20 entry fee for a family of four, whilst school, youth club or business groups will pay £30 plus £5 per member. There will also be a medal for every finisher & £50 M&S voucher to the runner raising the most sponsorship money and paid in by 31st December. Each participant raises funds for the designated Rotary Charity of Demelza but can also stipulate other charities (up to 50% of their raised sponsorship) to be allocated to a charity of their choice.

There will be activities taking place within the castle gardens before the ‘race’ begins and options to enjoy a buffet as part of your whole day out experience.

As we collect in sponsor money half will go to Medway RC's charities and half to the runners' chosen charities, meaning Christmas is a lot brighter for those in need!

This year Medway RC's chosen charity is:

       - Demelza Hospice Care for Children (Rotary-Demelza EuroDisney Holidays)

If you are unable to take part and you wish to donate to this worthwhile cause – every penny of which will go to the provision of the holidays, then you can do so via:
